After our first Stammtisch on 18. April and the screening of our movie Hello Africa - which was kind of a replacement for a Stammtisch - we want to announce the second Stammtisch-meeting of ICT4D.at.

What: ICT4D.at Stammtisch

Where: Cafe Benno, Alser Straße 67, Wien

When: Friday, 5. June 2009, 19:30

It’s just a meetup of people with similar interests - related to ICT4D. We are happy about everybody who comes and wants to get to know us.

It would be nice if you could notify us (office@ict4d.at) if you’ll definitely come.

On Saturday we had our first ICT4D.at - Stammtisch at Cafe Benno.

Except me and Martin the following people were there: Stefan Asseg, Paul Pöltner, Jody Knueppel (all from ICT4D.at), Christoph Derndorfer (OLPCnews) and Kurt Gramlich (Skolelinux). Not exactly a huge crowd, but all of them very interesting and highly motivated.

It was a nice evening and we especially learned a lot about Kurts experiences managing projects in NGOs and Christophs contacts to various universities.

Christoph furthermore suggested to have this Stammtisch monthly and that’s what we will do! Right now we are searching a date, we’ll keep you updated for sure.
